I have operated in several careers.
Within my counselling career I have worked with adults (over 18) in one format or another since 1992, when I gained a Diploma in Counselling from the University of Warwick.
I operated in private practice, and gained a Master’s from Warwick in 1997.
I worked in a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation unit run by Aquarius Action Projects.
For five years I was operational manager of a 24/7 telephone counselling for First Assist, an Employee Assistance Provider.
I have subsequently worked in private practice.
I qualified as a Supervisor in 2002.
I qualified as a Coach in 2014.
Throughout my career I’ve been a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work under their confidentiality, clinical and ethical guidelines.
